1896 Plumbing & Heating gets its name from where our family’s story began. In 1896 our great-grandfather, August Gustafsen, came to Worcester and listed his occupation as a plumber. Five generations of the family have worked in the trade since, and the company is now proudly woman-run by the fifth.
The tools and the trade have changed. The principles have not: do the job right, take pride in your work, treat customers well, and stand behind your name. Proudly serving Worcester County and Central Massachusetts, with Spanish and Portuguese spoken.
