Gas Fitting & Gas Piping

We run, extend, repair and connect gas piping across Worcester County — appliance connections, new runs for a range or a dryer, and repairs to existing lines. If you smell gas, leave the building and call the gas company first, then call us.

$75 dispatch fee, credited to your bill when you book.

The work

Gas is the part of this trade with the least room for approximation, and it is priced and done accordingly.

  • New gas runs for ranges, dryers, boilers and water heaters
  • Extending an existing line to a new appliance position
  • Repair and replacement of corroded or damaged pipe
  • Appliance disconnection and reconnection
  • Shut-off valve fitting and replacement

Why we do not rush this one

A gas job that is nearly right is not a gas job. Every connection is tested before we leave, and if something about the existing installation is not right we will tell you even when it is not what we came for.

Common questions

I can smell gas. What should I do first?
Leave the building and call the gas company first, then call us.
Can you run a new gas line for a range or dryer?
Yes. New gas runs for ranges, dryers, boilers and water heaters are routine work for us.
Do you test the work before leaving?
Yes. Every connection is tested before we leave, and if something about the existing installation is not right we will tell you even when it is not what we came for.
Do you work on gas heating as well as gas piping?
Yes. We work on gas heating only — boilers, water heaters and the piping that serves them.
