Emergency Plumbing, 24/7
There is always someone on call, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call if water is coming in and you cannot stop it, if you have no heat in freezing weather, if waste is backing up into the house, or if you smell gas — leave the building first for that one, call the gas company, then call us.
$75 dispatch fee, credited to your bill when you book.
Worth calling at any hour
These are the ones where waiting makes the damage worse by the hour rather than by the day.
- Water coming in that you cannot stop — a burst pipe, a failed connection, a split tank
- No heat in freezing weather, especially with a baby, an elderly person or anyone unwell in the house
- Water near an electrical panel or anything live
- A smell of gas — leave the building, call the gas company, then call us
- Sewage or waste backing up into the house
- A water heater leaking from the tank body rather than a fitting
The first thing to do, before anyone arrives
Find your main shut-off and turn it off. It is usually where the supply enters the house — a basement wall, a crawl space, or a box near the street. Turning it off stops the clock on the damage and it is the most useful thing anyone can do in the ten minutes before a plumber arrives.
If you do not know where yours is, that is worth finding out on a Sunday afternoon rather than at midnight. Take a photo of it while you are down there.
What can wait until morning, and we will say so
A dripping tap, a slow drain, a toilet that runs, one cold radiator in an otherwise warm house — none of these gets meaningfully worse overnight, and none is worth what a night callout costs you.
If you describe the problem and it is one of those, we will tell you it can wait and book you in properly. That is the difference between a plumber you call once and a plumber you keep the number of.
What a customer said
Published by the customer on Google and reproduced word for word.
“Called after hours on a Friday and they showed up right away to handle the problem. This is the second time I've had then in my old Worcester home to assist with old pipes. Communication was A+ and they solved the drain issue quickly and professionally. After the job was complete, they made recommendations to resolve the main issues moving forward. I won't hesitate to call in the future for any drain needs. Thanks so much!”
